Stellar Expectations

Kayla works as a tech, scanning planets. Problem is, most of the planets in the galaxy are boring. But, when her girlfriend finds an inhabited planet, Kayla re-evaluates her feelings about her job. 

Originally written, funnily enough, for my job, Stellar Expectations is a very short short little story inspired by a thought I had about our expectations versus reality.
